Why ICF Accreditation Matters

You want to work with someone who knows what they’re doing.

Not just someone who has read about coaching. But someone who has trained under strict standards, who is certified, and who is held accountable to ethical guidelines.

That’s what ICF accreditation means.

ICF stands for International Coaching Federation. It’s the world’s largest and most recognized coaching organization, setting the highest standards for coaching practice globally.

My Training

I trained under Sam Taylor at The Somatic School and became certified as an ICF Somatic Embodiment Coach. This means I completed rigorous training that meets ICF’s international standards.

It wasn’t quick or easy. It required deep personal work, supervised practice, and a commitment to understanding not just the method, but myself.

What This Means For You

When you work with an ICF-accredited coach, you’re working with someone who:

Has completed formal, extensive training in coaching methodology and practice.
Is held to a code of ethics and professional standards.
Continues their own professional development and learning.
Has been trained to work with integrity, confidentiality, and respect.

In other words, you’re not just getting someone’s opinion or approach. You’re working with someone who has been formally trained, certified, and is accountable to international standards.

That matters.
